Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CKAP2 (Cytoskeleton Associated Protein 2) is a crucial protein implicated in various cellular processes, including cell division, cytoskeletal organization, and intracellular transport. Research into CKAP2 has gained traction due to its potential role in cancer biology and cellular stress responses. It has been observed that CKAP2 expression is often dysregulated in cancerous tissues, suggesting a link between CKAP2 and tumor progression. Additionally, studies have indicated that CKAP2 interacts with microtubules, which are essential for maintaining cell shape and facilitating cellular movement. The development of recombinant CKAP2 proteins has enabled scientists to explore its functional mechanisms and interactions at a molecular level. By producing CKAP2 in a controlled laboratory environment, researchers can investigate its structural properties, binding affinities, and influence on cell behavior. This research is foundational for understanding how CKAP2 contributes to pathological conditions, providing insights that could lead to novel therapeutic strategies targeting its pathways. Overall, the study of CKAP2 recombinant proteins is vital for elucidating the complexities of cellular dynamics and the underlying mechanisms of diseases.
