Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PAEP, or pregnancy-associated endometrial alpha-2-glycoprotein, is a protein that plays a crucial role in reproductive biology and early pregnancy. Initially identified in the context of the endometrium, PAEP is believed to be involved in the processes of embryo implantation and placentation. Its expression is regulated by hormones such as estrogen and progesterone, making it a key player in the uterine environment necessary for successful gestation. Research on PAEP has gained momentum due to its potential implications in fertility treatments and understanding pregnancy complications. The study of recombinant PAEP proteins allows for the investigation of its biological functions in vitro and in vivo, facilitating a deeper understanding of its role in reproductive processes. Additionally, the ability to produce PAEP as a recombinant protein offers possibilities for developing diagnostic tools or therapeutic interventions aimed at improving reproductive health. Advancements in recombinant DNA technology have enabled scientists to generate this protein in sufficient quantities, paving the way for more comprehensive studies on its structure, function, and interactions with other molecular players in the reproductive system. Overall, the exploration of PAEP and its recombinant forms is significant for both fundamental reproductive biology and the development of clinical applications related to fertility and pregnancy management.
