Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Testican 1, also known as SPOCK1, is a member of the never-in-mitosis gene (NIMA)-related kinase family and is associated with various biological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and proliferation. Its role in the extracellular matrix suggests that it may influence tumor progression and metastasis, making it a significant focus in cancer research. Elevated levels of Testican 1 have been implicated in several cancers, including breast and prostate cancers, where it appears to promote tumor growth and enhance cell survival. The study of recombinant Testican 1/SPOCK1 proteins aims to elucidate the precise mechanisms by which this protein functions in cellular contexts and its potential interactions with other biomolecules. Understanding its structure and activity can provide insights into its role as a biomarker for cancer progression and a potential therapeutic target. By producing and characterizing recombinant Testican 1/SPOCK1, researchers can investigate its biological effects in vitro and in vivo, contributing to the development of novel strategies for cancer treatment. Overall, the exploration of Testican 1/SPOCK1 serves as an essential avenue for uncovering new aspects of tumor biology and the quest for effective cancer therapies.
