Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IFITM3 (Interferon-Inducible Transmembrane Protein 3) and Fragilis are proteins that have garnered significant attention within the fields of immunology and virology. IFITM3 is known for its role in the innate immune response, particularly in the restriction of viral infections, acting as a barrier to various pathogens, including influenza and HIV. It is upregulated in response to interferon signaling, indicating its importance as a frontline defense mechanism during viral challenges. On the other hand, Fragilis, a protein that is often associated with cellular adhesion and communication, is involved in processes such as cell migration, which plays a crucial role in tissue repair and immune responses. Recent studies have highlighted the potential of IFITM3 and Fragilis in modulating immune responses and their implications for vaccine development and therapeutic interventions in viral diseases. Research involving recombinant proteins of IFITM3 and Fragilis aims to elucidate their functional mechanisms, interaction networks, and structural properties, providing deeper insights into their roles in immune regulation and potential applications in enhancing host defense against infections. This exploration not only deepens our understanding of viral pathogenesis but also paves the way for innovative approaches to tackle infectious diseases, making IFITM3 and Fragilis promising candidates for further investigation in both fundamental and applied biological research.
