简介
The PPIE protein is a key spliceosome component that complexly regulates pre-mRNA splicing through RNA binding and PPIase activity. It prefers single-stranded RNA with polyA and polyU stretches, indicating an affinity for the poly(A) region of the 3'-UTR. PPIE Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived PPIE protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPIE, or Peptidyl-prolyl isomerase E, is an important member of the cyclophilin family of proteins known for its role in protein folding and regulation. As a key enzyme in the isomerization of prolyl bonds in polypeptides, PPIE is implicated in various biological processes, including cell signaling, stress response, and apoptosis. The relevance of PPIE extends beyond basic biology, as it has been linked to several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, where its dysregulation can influence cellular homeostasis and response to stimuli. Research into the recombinant expression and characterization of PPIE aims to elucidate its structure-function relationships and explore its potential as a therapeutic target. Advances in recombinant protein technology have enabled scientists to produce PPIE in a controlled laboratory setting, allowing for detailed biophysical and biochemical analyses. Understanding the dynamics and mechanisms of PPIE not only deepens our comprehension of fundamental cellular processes but also opens avenues for drug discovery, where inhibitors of PPIE could serve as novel therapeutic agents against conditions arising from its aberrations. Overall, the study of PPIE is critical, as it bridges basic science with potential clinical applications, thereby contributing significantly to the fields of molecular biology and medicine.
