  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CDK7-CCNH-MNAT1 recombinant protein is an important player in the field of cell cycle regulation and transcriptional control. CDK7, a cyclin-dependent kinase, is part of the transcription factor TFIIH and plays a dual role in both cell cycle progression and the phosphorylation of the RNA polymerase II C-terminal domain, thus facilitating mRNA synthesis. CCNH, or Cyclin H, is essential for the activation of CDK7 and aids in the stabilization of the CDK7-cyclin complex, making it critical for its kinase activity. MNAT1 (also known as MNAT1 or CDK-activating kinase (CAK)) further enhances the function of CDK7 by phosphorylating it, ensuring proper activation and function during transcription initiation and cell division. Together, the CDK7-CCNH-MNAT1 complex plays a pivotal role in maintaining normal cellular functions, and aberrations in this system can lead to various pathologies, including cancer. Studying the recombinant forms of these proteins allows researchers to dissect their individual contributions and interactions in biochemical assays, potentially identifying novel therapeutic targets for diseases characterized by dysregulated cell cycle and transcriptional machinery.
