简介
PKCE proteins are calcium-independent, phospholipid- and diacylglycerol (DAG)-dependent serine/threonine protein kinases. PRKCE Protein, Human (sf9, GST) is the recombinant human-derived PRKCE, expressed by Sf9 insect cells, with GST labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRKCE, or Protein Kinase C Epsilon, is a member of the protein kinase C (PKC) family, which plays a crucial role in cellular signaling processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and survival. The research on PRKCE recombinant proteins has gained significant attention due to their potential implications in various physiological and pathological conditions. PRKCE is predominantly expressed in the brain and heart, indicating its involvement in neuroprotection and cardioprotection. Studies have demonstrated that PRKCE is implicated in various diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases, leading to increased interest in its molecular mechanisms and functional roles. The production of recombinant PRKCE proteins allows researchers to explore its enzymatic activity, regulatory mechanisms, and interactions with other cellular proteins in a controlled environment. This approach facilitates a better understanding of PRKCE's functions, paving the way for therapeutic interventions targeting its signaling pathways. Additionally, the availability of PRKCE recombinant proteins supports the development of diagnostic tools and biomarkers for diseases associated with altered PRKCE activity. As such, ongoing research aims to elucidate the complexities of PRKCE signaling and its potential as a target for novel therapeutic strategies.
