  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

HLA-A*11:01 is a human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I molecule that plays a crucial role in the immune response by presenting peptides derived from intracellular proteins to CD8+ T cells. The B2M (Beta-2-microglobulin) protein is essential for the stability and surface expression of HLA class I molecules. Mutations in oncogenes like KRAS are pivotal in various cancers; specifically, KRAS G12V is a common mutation in pancreatic and colorectal tumors, which alters cellular signaling pathways. The peptide sequence VVVGAVGVGK is derived from the KRAS G12V mutant and has the potential to elicit a specific immune response. Research on the recombinant protein comprising HLA-A*11:01, B2M, and the KRAS G12V peptide aims to elucidate the interaction between the immune system and cancer cells harboring KRAS mutations. This study holds promise for the development of immunotherapies, as it may enhance our understanding of how to target and activate T cells against tumors expressing this specific mutant. Utilizing recombinant technology enables the production of high-purity proteins, facilitating the exploration of their structural and functional characteristics and advancing personalized cancer treatment strategies that harness the body’s immune system.
