Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BGLAP, or Bone Gamma-Carboxyglutamic Acid-containing Protein, is a vitamin K-dependent protein primarily produced by osteoblasts and is known for its crucial role in bone metabolism and mineralization. Research into BGLAP has gained traction due to its significant implications in various bone-related diseases, including osteoporosis and certain bone cancers. The protein is also involved in regulating mineral homeostasis and can serve as a biomarker for bone turnover. Furthermore, BGLAP's unique structure allows for interactions with hydroxyapatite, which is vital for bone development and strength. The recombinant production of BGLAP has become essential for detailed studies of its function and potential therapeutic applications. Advances in recombinant technology enable the generation of high-purity BGLAP, facilitating analyses of its physiological roles and the mechanisms underlying its involvement in bone diseases. Additionally, studies utilizing recombinant BGLAP can aid in the development of novel treatments aimed at enhancing bone health and preventing bone-related disorders. This research not only enhances our understanding of skeletal biology but also opens avenues for innovative approaches in bone disease management and therapy.
