简介
SWSAP1, an ATPase selectively activated by single-stranded DNA, is vital for homologous recombination repair (HRR). In addition to ATPase activity, SWSAP1 independently binds DNA. Teaming up with ZSWIM7, it forms a complex crucial for HRR, with mutual stabilization. SWSAP1 interacts with key HRR proteins—RAD51, RAD51B, RAD51C, RAD51D, and XRCC3—underscoring its role in facilitating homologous recombination repair processes. SWSAP1 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived SWSAP1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SWSAP1, or SWI/SNF-related, matrix-associated actin-dependent regulator of chromatin, is a protein implicated in various cellular processes, including chromatin remodeling, gene expression regulation, and cell differentiation. The importance of SWSAP1 has grown in recent years due to its association with several diseases, particularly cancer, where altered expression and function can lead to aberrant cellular behaviors. Studies indicate that SWSAP1 interacts with key protein complexes involved in chromatin structure and function, influencing transcriptional programs essential for cell fate decisions. Its role in development and tissue homeostasis further underscores its significance as a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. Researchers have been increasingly focused on producing recombinant SWSAP1 protein to study its biochemical properties, interactions, and functional implications in cellular contexts. Such studies often utilize advanced techniques including recombinant DNA technology and protein expression systems, enabling in-depth analysis of SWSAP1’s structure and function. Understanding SWSAP1 not only provides insights into its fundamental biological roles but also paves the way for novel therapeutic strategies in targeting diseases linked to its dysregulation.
