简介
The NOV/CCN3 protein is an early player that coordinates diverse cellular processes such as proliferation, adhesion, migration, differentiation, and survival.By interacting with membrane receptors such as integrins or NOTCH1, it regulates hematopoietic stem cells and inhibits myogenic differentiation while affecting the expression of cell cycle regulators.NOV/CCN3 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived NOV/CCN3 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The NOV/CCN3 protein, part of the CCN (Cyr61/CTGF/NOV) family, plays a significant role in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and angiogenesis. This multifunctional protein is implicated in numerous pathophysiological conditions, such as bone and cartilage development, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer. Research into NOV/CCN3 has gained momentum due to its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target in several diseases. Elevated levels of NOV/CCN3 have been associated with poor prognosis in cancer patients, highlighting its role in tumor progression and metastasis. Additionally, NOV/CCN3 participates in regulating extracellular matrix components, impacting tissue repair and fibrogenesis. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying its functions and interactions with other proteins could lead to novel strategies for disease intervention. Current studies focus on elucidating its signaling pathways, functional domains, and involvement in cellular responses, emphasizing the need for recombinant NOV/CCN3 protein to facilitate biophysical and biochemical analyses. Overall, the ongoing research on NOV/CCN3 presents promising avenues for therapeutic development, making it a critical focus in molecular biology and translational medicine.
