简介
The TSSK4 protein is a critical serine/threonine kinase that is essential for male germ cell development and contributes to mature sperm function. It may participate in the Cre/Creb signaling pathway, phosphorylate CREB1 on "Ser-133" and stimulate this pathway. TSSK4 Protein, Human (sf9, His, GST) is the recombinant human-derived TSSK4 protein, expressed by sf9 insect cells , with N-8*His, N-GST labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TSSK4 (Testis-Specific Serine Kinase 4) is part of a family of serine/threonine kinases predominantly expressed in testicular tissues, playing a crucial role in spermatogenesis and male fertility. Recent research has highlighted its importance in cellular signaling pathways associated with germ cell development and differentiation. Mutations or dysregulation of TSSK4 have been linked to male infertility, making it a significant target for studying the molecular mechanisms underlying reproductive health. The recombinant expression of TSSK4 allows for the detailed examination of its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and interaction with other proteins involved in sperm development. By generating and characterizing recombinant TSSK4 protein, researchers aim to elucidate its structure-function relationships and explore its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target for infertility treatment. Understanding TSSK4's role in spermatogenesis not only furthers our comprehension of male reproductive biology but also opens avenues for developing interventions for fertility-related disorders.
