简介
Syntenin-1 protein is known to mediate Syndecan signaling and has a PDZ domain that binds transmembrane proteins. It affects cytoskeletal membrane organization, cell adhesion, protein trafficking, and transcription factor activation. Syntenin-1 Protein, Human (N-His) is the recombinant human-derived Syntenin-1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PDCD5 (Programmed Cell Death 5) is a protein that has gained attention in the field of cancer research and apoptosis (programmed cell death) due to its role in regulating cell survival and death mechanisms. Originally identified as a pro-apoptotic factor, PDCD5 is linked to various cellular functions, including stress response and cell cycle regulation. Research has demonstrated that PDCD5 can enhance apoptosis under certain conditions, particularly in cancer cells, which often evade programmed cell death. Given its potential as a therapeutic target, scientists are investigating the recombinant expression of PDCD5 to better understand its molecular mechanisms and functional roles. By producing PDCD5 in a recombinant form, researchers aim to study its interactions with other proteins and signaling pathways involved in cell death, as well as its potential to augment the effectiveness of existing cancer therapies. Understanding how PDCD5 modulates apoptosis in different contexts can provide insights into developing novel cancer treatments, particularly for tumors that exhibit resistance to conventional therapies. Moreover, the exploration of PDCD5’s role in other diseases characterized by dysregulated apoptosis further underscores its significance in biomedical research. Overall, the study of PDCD5 recombinant protein presents a promising avenue for elucidating the complexities of apoptotic processes and improving cancer treatment strategies.
