UBE2C

简介
The UBE2C protein is a key ubiquitin-proteasome system component that acts as an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme and is the core of the covalent linkage of ubiquitin to target proteins. In vitro, UBE2C expertly promotes “Lys-11” and “Lys-48” linked polyubiquitination, demonstrating the versatility of ubiquitin chain formation. UBE2C Protein, Human (sf9, His, Strep) is the recombinant human-derived UBE2C protein, expressed by sf9 insect cells , with N-Strep, N-8*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UBE2C, a member of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family, plays a critical role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which is essential for regulating various cellular processes including protein degradation, cell cycle progression, and DNA repair. Its overexpression has been implicated in several cancers, making UBE2C a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. Research has shown that UBE2C is involved in the monoubiquitination of target proteins, particularly those associated with cell cycle regulation, thereby influencing tumorigenesis and cancer development. Studies have also highlighted its role in the regulation of the spindle assembly checkpoint, which ensures proper chromosome segregation during cell division. The understanding of UBE2C's function and regulation could provide insights into oncogenic pathways and facilitate the development of targeted cancer therapies. As a result, the characterization and functional analysis of UBE2C recombinant proteins are pivotal for elucidating their mechanisms of action and exploring their therapeutic potential in cancer treatment. Overall, UBE2C remains a significant focus in cancer biology research, with ongoing investigations aimed at unraveling its complex biology and therapeutic implications.
