Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HLA-A*02:01 is a major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecule that plays a crucial role in the immune response by presenting peptide antigens to CD8+ T cells. The study of HLA-A*02:01, particularly in conjunction with its beta-2 microglobulin (B2M) component, is significant for understanding T cell activation and the development of immunotherapies. Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is oncofetal protein that is often overexpressed in certain cancers, marking it as a useful target for immunotherapy. The specific peptide FMNKFIYEI derived from AFP has been identified as a potential target for T cell-mediated approaches due to its ability to elicit strong immune responses in HLA-A*02:01-restricted T cells. The generation of monomeric recombinant proteins that include HLA-A*02:01, B2M, and the AFP-derived peptide is crucial for studying the structural and functional aspects of this complex. This research enhances our understanding of the molecular interactions involved in T cell recognition and paves the way for the development of targeted cancer immunotherapies that harness the body’s immune system to fight tumors expressing AFP. Explorations in this area underscore the potential to design effective vaccines and adoptive transfer therapies, contributing to the advancement of personalized medicine strategies against cancers where AFP is a prominent biomarker.
