Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDC7 is a crucial serine/threonine kinase that plays a significant role in the regulation of DNA replication and cell cycle progression. It is part of the cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) family and is particularly important for initiating DNA synthesis during the S-phase of the cell cycle. The expression and activity of CDC7 are tightly controlled, and its dysregulation is implicated in various cancers, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. Research has shown that the CDC7 kinase, in conjunction with its regulatory partner Dbf4, phosphorylates components of the pre-replicative complex, thus facilitating the launching of DNA replication. The study of recombinant CDC7 protein has garnered attention due to its potential for elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying cellular proliferation and genome stability. By generating recombinant CDC7, researchers can explore its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and interactions with other cell cycle regulators. This research not only enhances our understanding of cell cycle dynamics but also provides insights into how targeting CDC7 could contribute to cancer treatment strategies. Given the rising interest in targeted therapies, CDC7 stands out as a promising candidate due to its essential functions and the role of its dysregulation in tumorigenesis.
