简介
The SENP3 protein is a key protease in protein sumoylation and can efficiently release SUMO2 and SUMO3 from substrates but is less active on SUMO1 conjugates. Its regulatory effects span multiple cellular processes, including dissociation of SUMO2 from MEF2D, enhancing its transcriptional activation, and dissociation from CDCA8, affecting cellular dynamics. SENP3 Protein, Human is the recombinant human-derived SENP3 protein, expressed by E. coli , with tag free.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SENP3, or Sentrin-specific protease 3, is a member of the SENP family of proteases that play essential roles in post-translational modification by processing small ubiquitin-like modifiers (SUMOs). As a key regulator of SUMOylation, SENP3 modulates various cellular processes, including gene expression, signal transduction, and stress responses. Research has indicated that SENP3 is involved in diverse biological functions, such as cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis, and its dysregulation has been linked to several pathological conditions, including cancer and neurological disorders. Recent studies have focused on the potential of SENP3 as a therapeutic target, highlighting its importance in modulating the SUMOylation status of critical proteins in various diseases. The production of recombinant SENP3 proteins has become increasingly important for understanding its enzymatic mechanisms and interactions with target substrates. By utilizing advanced expression systems, researchers aim to generate biologically active SENP3 for biochemical assays and structural studies. This will enhance the understanding of SENP3's role in cellular processes and its potential as a therapeutic target, paving the way for novel interventions in diseases associated with SUMOylation dysregulation.
