Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IGF2R (Insulin-like Growth Factor 2 Receptor) is a key component in the regulation of growth and development, primarily functioning to modulate the bioavailability of Insulin-like Growth Factor 2 (IGF2) and other ligands. Research has shown that IGF2R plays a critical role in various physiological processes, including cellular growth, differentiation, and apoptosis, making it a significant focus in cancer biology, metabolic disorders, and developmental diseases. The receptor functions through endocytosis, regulating the signaling pathways that influence cell proliferation and survival. Additionally, mutations or altered expression of IGF2R have been implicated in a range of malignancies, where loss of function may contribute to unregulated cell growth. The production of recombinant IGF2R proteins offers a valuable tool for studying its structure-function relationships, ligand interactions, and potential therapeutic applications. By utilizing recombinant DNA technology, researchers can generate large quantities of pure IGF2R proteins, enabling detailed biochemical assays and the development of targeted therapies. Furthermore, understanding the relationship between IGF2R and other signaling networks holds promise for uncovering novel approaches to cancer treatment and management of metabolic syndromes. The expanding body of research surrounding IGF2R positions it as a promising candidate for further exploration in both basic and translational sciences, with the potential to influence future strategies for disease intervention and management.
