The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Interleukin-2 receptor alpha (IL-2Rα), also known as CD25, is a crucial component of the interleukin-2 (IL-2) signaling pathway, which plays a significant role in regulating immune responses and maintaining T cell homeostasis. The study of IL-2Rα/CD25 recombinant proteins has gained prominence due to their involvement in various autoimmune diseases, cancers, and immune system regulation. CD25 is expressed on activated T cells and is essential for T cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. The overexpression of CD25 is often associated with pathological conditions such as lymphoproliferative disorders and some cancers, making it a potential therapeutic target. Moreover, CD25 is upregulated on regulatory T cells (Tregs), which are vital for maintaining immune tolerance and preventing autoimmunity. Recombinant forms of IL-2Rα/CD25 can be utilized for immunological studies, allowing researchers to investigate the interactions between IL-2 and its receptor, facilitate the development of targeted therapies, and enhance the understanding of immune modulation. These proteins also hold promise in the context of immunotherapies, where enhancing or inhibiting IL-2 signaling may lead to improved treatment outcomes in various diseases. Overall, the research on IL-2Rα/CD25 recombinant proteins is pivotal to advancing immunotherapy and enhancing our understanding of immune system dynamics.
