  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

DNASE1L3, a member of the DNase I superfamily, is recognized for its crucial role in the degradation of extracellular DNA, which is pivotal in various physiological and pathological processes, including inflammation, autoimmunity, and cancer progression. Research has shown that DNASE1L3 is involved in the clearance of DNA during apoptotic processes and is essential for maintaining extracellular DNA homeostasis. Mutations in the DNASE1L3 gene have been linked to systemic lupus erythematosus, highlighting its significance in immune regulation. Given its functional importance, the recombinant expression of DNASE1L3 protein has gained attention for potential therapeutic applications. Researchers are focused on producing this protein to explore its biochemical properties, enzymatic activity, and possible roles in DNA-driven diseases. The recombinant protein can also serve as a valuable tool for studying DNA metabolism and the molecular mechanisms underlying various disorders. Understanding DNASE1L3's structure-function relationship and its interactions with other cellular components may provide insights into novel therapeutic strategies for diseases associated with dysregulated DNA clearance. Consequently, the characterization of DNASE1L3 through rational design and recombinant technology represents a promising avenue for advancing our understanding of extracellular DNA's impact on health and disease.
