简介
The multifunctional SARS-CoV-2 PP1ab protein is essential for viral RNA transcription and replication, utilizing proteases for multi-protein cleavage. It inhibits host translation by binding to the 40S subunit and blocks ribosomal mRNA entry channels, thereby hindering the antiviral response. NSP16/NSP10 Protein, SARS-CoV-2 is the recombinant virus-derived NSP16/NSP10, expressed by E. coli, with tag-free.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of the SARS-CoV-2 NSP16-NSP10 recombinant protein has gained significant attention due to its critical role in the viral lifecycle. NSP16 is a methyltransferase that modifies the viral RNA cap structure, facilitating its escape from host immune detection and enhancing its translation efficiency. NSP10 serves as a crucial co-factor for NSP16, enhancing its methyltransferase activity. Understanding the interactions between NSP16 and NSP10 is essential for elucidating the molecular mechanisms of SARS-CoV-2 pathogenesis. Additionally, insights into this complex could inform the development of antiviral strategies aimed at disrupting viral replication. Given the ongoing global challenges posed by COVID-19, characterizing recombinant NSP16-NSP10 could lead to novel therapeutic approaches or the design of effective vaccines. The exploration of this protein complex is thus a vital step in the broader effort to combat SARS-CoV-2 and future coronaviruses. By investigating its structure and function, researchers hope to uncover new targets for intervention, ultimately contributing to public health responses against viral outbreaks.
