  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

LRPAP1 (LRP-associated protein 1) is a protein that plays a crucial role in the regulation of lipoprotein metabolism and cellular lipid uptake, particularly in the context of cardiovascular diseases and lipid disorders. It acts as a co-receptor for the LDL receptor, facilitating the endocytosis of lipoproteins, and is thus vital for maintaining lipid homeostasis in the body. Recent studies have shown that alterations in the expression or function of LRPAP1 may be linked to various metabolic disorders, including atherosclerosis and obesity. The recombinant expression of LRPAP1 in model systems provides an opportunity to investigate its structure-function relationships, interactions with other lipoproteins, and its role in the pathophysiology of cardiovascular diseases. Understanding the mechanisms of LRPAP1 could lead to the development of innovative therapeutic strategies targeting lipid metabolism and associated diseases. As such, the research on LRPAP1 recombinant proteins is gaining significance, aiming to elucidate their biological functions and potential applications in clinical settings.
