简介
The INHBB protein complexly controls pituitary function, regulating follicle-stimulating hormone and activin. Its critical role extends to a variety of physiological processes, including hormone secretion, cell development, insulin release, and bone growth. INHBB Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived INHBB protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-10*His labeled tag.

生物活性
1.Measured in a cell proliferation assay using SH-SY5Y human neuroblastoma cells. The ED50 this effect is 0.6762 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity is 1.48×106 units/mg. (Note: Protein mainly exists in propeptide form, which means it doesn't have the biological activity of Activin B.) 2.Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA.Immobilized human INHBB-His at 10 μg/mL (100 μl/well) can bind biotinylated mouse FLRG-His with a linear range of 0.031-0.156 μg/mL. Measured in a cell proliferation assay using SH-SY5Y human neuroblastoma cells. The ED50 this effect is 0.6762 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity is 1.48×106 units/mg.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
INHBB, also known as Inhibin Beta B, is a member of the inhibin family of proteins that plays a crucial role in the regulation of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) secretion, which are key hormones in reproductive physiology. The study of INHBB recombinant proteins has gained attention due to their potential applications in reproductive health and fertility treatments, as well as their involvement in various physiological processes beyond reproduction, including cellular growth and differentiation. Recent research indicates that INHBB may have a significant role in conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and certain types of cancers, highlighting its importance in both clinical and therapeutic contexts. Furthermore, understanding the structural and functional properties of INHBB through recombinant protein technology allows researchers to explore its interactions with other signaling pathways and its overall impact on hormonal balance and reproductive function. Thus, the production and characterization of INHBB recombinant proteins are critical for advancing our knowledge in endocrinology and uncovering novel therapeutic strategies for managing reproductive disorders and related diseases.
