简介
The INHBA protein plays a key role in regulating pituitary function by regulating follicle-stimulating hormone secretion together with activin. Its broad effects span a variety of physiological processes, including hormone secretion, germ cell development, erythrocyte differentiation, insulin secretion, nerve cell survival, embryonic development, and bone growth, depending on unique subunit composition. Activin A Protein, Human (Biotinylated, HEK293, Avi) is the recombinant human-derived Activin A protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-Avi labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Activin A, a member of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) superfamily, plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including embryonic development, cell differentiation, and tissue repair. Its importance has garnered significant attention in both fundamental and clinical research. Originally identified for its regulatory functions in reproductive biology, Activin A has also been implicated in inflammation, metabolism, and the immune response, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Recombinant Activin A protein has been developed for various applications, facilitating studies on its signaling pathways and physiological roles. Researchers are exploring its effects in diseases such as cancer, fibrosis, and autoimmune disorders. The ability to produce Activin A in a recombinant form allows for more precise studies of its functions and interactions, paving the way for novel treatment strategies. Furthermore, understanding its roles in stem cell pluripotency and differentiation can enhance regenerative medicine approaches. The ongoing investigations into Activin A highlight its promise as a multifaceted mediator in health and disease, emphasizing the need for continued research to fully elucidate its mechanisms of action and therapeutic potential.
