简介
ATP5J2 protein is a component of mitochondrial membrane ATP synthase (complex V), which uses the proton gradient established by the respiratory chain electron transport complex to help ADP synthesize ATP. ATP5J2 is located in the F(0) domain as a small subunit and cooperates with subunit a in the membrane. ATP5J2 Protein, Human (Cell-Free, His) is the recombinant human-derived ATP5J2 protein, expressed by E. coli Cell-free , with N-10*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ATP5J2, also known as ATP Synthase Subunit B2, is a critical component of the mitochondrial ATP synthase complex, essential for ATP production through oxidative phosphorylation. Recent studies have highlighted its importance not only in cellular energy metabolism but also in various pathophysiological conditions, including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Research indicates that ATP5J2 may play a role in the regulation of mitochondrial dynamics and the maintenance of mitochondrial integrity. Due to its involvement in energy metabolism and potential implications in disease processes, the recombinant production of ATP5J2 has garnered attention for both basic research and therapeutic applications. The functional characterization of this protein can provide insights into mitochondrial dysfunctions and facilitate the development of novel interventions for diseases linked to mitochondrial dysfunction. Furthermore, understanding its interaction with other mitochondrial proteins and pathways may unlock new therapeutic strategies. Advances in recombinant DNA technology and protein expression systems enable the efficient production and purification of ATP5J2, allowing researchers to examine its structure-function relationships and potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. As ongoing research unfolds, the role of ATP5J2 in cellular physiology and its potential implications in human health and disease continue to be an exciting frontier in the field of bioenergetics and mitochondrial research.
