  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

REG-1 alpha, also known as REG1A, is a member of the regenerating gene family that was originally identified for its role in pancreatic regeneration and cellular proliferation. This protein is highly expressed in the pancreas and certain tumors, suggesting its involvement in tissue repair and neoplastic processes. REG1A is known to exhibit various biological activities, including anti-inflammatory and anti-apoptotic effects, making it a potential therapeutic target for conditions such as diabetes and cancer. Research has highlighted its ability to influence cell signaling pathways and support cellular survival in adverse environments. The production of recombinant REG1A protein facilitates detailed studies on its structure-function relationships and its potential as a biomarker for pancreatic diseases. Moreover, its unique expression patterns in pathological conditions have made REG1A an intriguing subject in the field of oncology and regenerative medicine. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying REG1A's actions can lead to novel therapeutic interventions and improved treatment strategies for patients with pancreatic disorders and malignancies.
