简介
The NFYA protein is a component of the NF-Y transcription factor and recognizes the 5'-CCAAT-3' box motif in gene promoters. NFYA functions as an activator or repressor depending on the interacting cofactors. NFYA Protein, Human is the recombinant human-derived NFYA protein, expressed by E. coli , with tag free.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NFYA (Nuclear Factor Y Subunit A) is a crucial transcription factor involved in various biological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and stress responses. Its role in regulating gene expression makes it a focal point of research, especially in cancer biology and developmental studies. NFYA forms a trimeric complex with two other subunits (NFYB and NFYC) to bind to specific DNA sequences called CCAAT boxes, which are found in the promoter regions of many genes. Recent studies have highlighted its significance in modulating pathways related to cell cycle regulation and apoptosis, suggesting that aberrations in NFYA expression can contribute to tumorigenesis. Moreover, NFYA has been implicated in the response to environmental stresses, such as drought and heat, in plants, showcasing its evolutionary importance across species. Given its diverse functions, the recombinant expression and characterization of NFYA offer opportunities to elucidate its mechanisms at the molecular level, which could lead to novel therapeutic strategies for diseases linked to NFYA dysregulation. Understanding NFYA's structure and interactions can pave the way for developing targeted interventions in cancer therapy and improving stress resilience in crops through biotechnological approaches.
