简介
The LMCD1 protein is a transcriptional cofactor that regulates GATA6 by blocking its DNA binding, thereby inhibiting transcriptional activation in lung and heart tissues. It inhibits GATA6-mediated transactivation of tissue-specific promoters, which is critical for developmental processes. LMCD1 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived LMCD1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His, C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LMCD1 (LIM and CDM1 domain-containing protein 1) is a protein that plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including cell differentiation, proliferation, and migration. Research into LMCD1 has gained momentum due to its potential involvement in key signaling pathways and its implications in diseases such as cancer. LMCD1 is characterized by the presence of LIM and conserved domain motifs, which facilitate protein-protein interactions and the regulation of gene expression. This makes it a significant subject of study in developmental biology and molecular medicine. Recent findings suggest that LMCD1 may act as a transcriptional co-regulator, influencing the activity of several transcription factors and modulating cellular responses to environmental stimuli. Its involvement in the pathophysiology of tumors has prompted investigations into its function as a potential biomarker or therapeutic target. Given the complexity of its regulatory mechanisms, the production and characterization of recombinant LMCD1 protein have become essential for elucidating its biological functions and interactions. Through advanced techniques such as recombinant DNA technology, researchers aim to generate sufficient quantities of LMCD1 for in vitro studies, allowing for a deeper understanding of its role in cellular contexts. Overall, the study of LMCD1 and its recombinant protein form holds promise for advancing our knowledge of cellular dynamics and developing novel therapeutic strategies targeting related diseases.
