Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
B7-H2 (also known as ICOSLG) is a crucial co-stimulatory molecule involved in immune regulation, particularly in the activation and differentiation of T cells. It interacts with the Inducible T-cell Co-stimulator (ICOS), which is predominantly expressed on activated T cells. This interaction plays a significant role in enhancing T cell responses, including cytokine production and promoting immunological memory. Understanding the B7-H2/ICOSLG pathway has garnered attention due to its implications in various disease contexts, including chronic infections, autoimmune disorders, and cancer. The expression levels and functional activity of B7-H2 can influence the efficacy of immune responses, making it a potential target for therapeutic intervention. Researchers have sought to develop recombinant B7-H2 proteins to study their biological functions, enhance our understanding of T cell regulation, and explore their potential use in immunotherapy. By generating soluble or fusion forms of this protein, scientists aim to elucidate its signaling mechanisms and interactions with other immune checkpoints. Additionally, the study of B7-H2/ICOSLG may offer new avenues for enhancing vaccine responses or overcoming immune evasion by tumors, providing meaningful insights into the design of novel immunotherapeutic strategies. Overall, the investigation of B7-H2/ICOSLG recombinant proteins has the potential to contribute to the development of innovative treatments for various immune-mediated conditions and to advance our understanding of T cell biology.
