  • 稳定性测试

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • 保存条件 & 期限

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • 运输条件

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

ICOS (Inducible T-cell COStimulator) is a member of the CD28 family of costimulatory molecules pivotal for T-cell activation and immune response regulation. Its role in mediating signals that promote T-cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival has made it a significant focus in immunological research. The ICOS pathway has been implicated in various diseases, particularly autoimmune disorders and cancers, as dysregulation of ICOS signaling can lead to excessive immune responses or inadequate tumor immunity. Consequently, researchers have been exploring ICOS as a therapeutic target. The study of recombinant ICOS proteins involves understanding their structure, function, and interactions with other immune molecules, enabling insights into their pivotal role in immune modulation. Additionally, recombinant ICOS proteins can be used in preclinical models to assess their potential as predictive biomarkers or therapeutic agents. The development of ICOS-targeting therapies, such as monoclonal antibodies or agonists, holds promise for enhancing immune responses in cancer immunotherapy or restoring balance in autoimmune diseases. Therefore, investigating ICOS recombinant proteins is crucial for developing innovative immunotherapeutic strategies that leverage the body's immune system to achieve more effective disease management.
