Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NKG2C (also known as CD159c) is an activating receptor predominantly found on natural killer (NK) cells and certain subsets of T cells. It plays a crucial role in the immune response against tumor cells and viral infections. Research has increasingly focused on NKG2C due to its potential implications in immunotherapy, given its ability to enhance the cytotoxic activity of NK cells. Unlike its counterpart NKG2A, which is inhibitory, NKG2C can trigger powerful anti-tumor responses, making it a promising target for enhancing immune reactions. The variable expression of NKG2C in different populations, influenced by genetic and environmental factors, adds another layer of complexity to its study. Recombinant NKG2C protein has been developed to facilitate investigations into its functional properties, receptor-ligand interactions, and signaling pathways involved in NK cell activation. This research is pivotal as it could lead to advances in therapeutic strategies for cancer and viral diseases, promoting tumor recognition and eradication. Overall, NKG2C/CD159c remains an important focus in the fields of immunology and translational medicine, with significant potential to inform future immunotherapeutic approaches.
