Analytical Data

  • Gene name

    FGFR-1 beta

  • 简介

FGFR-1 beta is a member of the FGFR family that interacts with fibroblast growth factors and regulates mitosis and differentiation. It specifically binds acidic and basic fibroblast growth factors and is involved in limb induction. FGFR-1 beta Protein, Human (HEK293, hFc) is the recombinant human-derived FGFR-1 beta protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.

  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFRs) are a family of receptor tyrosine kinases that play crucial roles in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. FGFR-1, in particular, is implicated in the development of several tissues and organs, and its dysregulation has been associated with a range of diseases, including cancer, skeletal disorders, and vascular abnormalities. The beta isoform of FGFR-1 is known to exhibit distinct biological functions compared to its alpha counterpart, and its expression is regulated in a tissue-specific manner. Understanding the signaling pathways and functional implications of FGFR-1 beta is essential for elucidating its role in both normal physiology and pathological conditions. Recent advances in protein engineering have enabled the production of recombinant FGFR-1 beta, facilitating detailed studies on its structure, function, and interaction with ligands and downstream signaling molecules. This recombinant protein serves as a valuable tool for drug discovery and therapeutic development, particularly in targeting FGFR-related diseases. Additionally, the study of FGFR-1 beta may provide insights into the development of tailored treatments, improving the clinical outcomes for patients suffering from FGFR-related disorders. Overall, research on FGFR-1 beta recombinant protein holds significant promise for advancing our understanding of FGFR biology and its potential therapeutic applications.
