Analytical Data

  • Gene name

    LILRA3/CD85e/ILT6

  • 简介

LILRA3/CD85e/ILT6 functions as a soluble receptor for class I MHC antigens, binding both classical and non-classical HLA class I molecules, albeit with lower affinities than LILRB1 or LILRB2. It engages with monocyte surfaces, effectively suppressing LPS-induced TNF-alpha production by monocytes. LILRA3/CD85e/ILT6 Protein, Human (Biotinylated, HEK293, His-Avi) is the recombinant human-derived LILRA3/CD85e/ILT6 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-Avi, C-6*His labeled tag.

  • Application

  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

LILRA3, also known as CD85e or ILT6, is a member of the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LILR) family and plays a crucial role in modulating immune responses. This receptor is characterized by its ability to interact with MHC class I molecules, influencing the activation and inhibition of immune cells. Research on LILRA3/CD85e/ILT6 has gained momentum due to its implications in various physiological and pathological processes, including autoimmunity, cancer, and infectious diseases. Unlike classical inhibitory receptors, LILRA3 has unique features, such as its soluble form, which allow it to regulate immune responses by acting as a decoy receptor for MHC class I molecules, thereby preventing their engagement with activating receptors on immune cells. The cloning and expression of recombinant LILRA3 protein have been undertaken to study its functional properties and signaling mechanisms. Understanding the role of LILRA3 in immune regulation can provide insights into potential therapeutic approaches for diseases characterized by immune dysregulation. As the study of this receptor continues to evolve, it offers promising avenues for innovative treatments in immunotherapy and transplantation biology.
