Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ILT6 (Immunoglobulin-like Transcript 6) is a member of the ILT family of receptors, which are known to play crucial roles in the modulation of the immune response. This receptor is primarily expressed on immune cells such as monocytes and dendritic cells and is implicated in immune regulation and tolerance. Research into ILT6 has gained momentum due to its potential involvement in various diseases, including autoimmunity, cancer, and infectious diseases. By understanding the structure and function of ILT6, scientists aim to elucidate its mechanism of action, particularly how it influences the balance between pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory responses. Recombinant ILT6 protein has been produced to study its interaction with ligands and other surface receptors, enabling exploration of its signaling pathways and biological effects. Additionally, the manipulation of ILT6 expression presents therapeutic opportunities for enhancing immune responses in cancer immunotherapy or promoting tolerance in transplant medicine. As such, ILT6 represents a promising target for developing novel immunomodulatory strategies, underscoring the need for continued research in this area.
