IL-17D

简介
IL-17D protein acts as a potent inducer, effectively triggering endothelial cells to express key inflammatory mediators such as IL6, CXCL8/IL8, and CSF2/GM-CSF. The ability of this cytokine to stimulate the production of pro-inflammatory signals emphasizes its importance in orchestrating immune responses, particularly in the context of endothelial cell activation. IL-17D Protein, Human is the recombinant human-derived IL-17D protein, expressed by E. coli , with tag free.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-17D (IL-17D) is a member of the IL-17 cytokine family, which plays a critical role in mediating immune responses and maintaining tissue homeostasis. Research on IL-17D has gained momentum due to its significant involvement in various pathological conditions, particularly in inflammation and autoimmune diseases. Initially identified as an immune regulator, IL-17D has been shown to influence the production of other pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines, thereby impacting the recruitment and activation of immune cells. Studies suggest that IL-17D might have protective roles in certain contexts, such as in cancer immunity, where it can enhance the anti-tumor immune response. However, its dual roles in both promoting and regulating inflammatory responses highlight the complexity of its biological functions. Recombinant IL-17D protein has become a valuable tool for scientific investigation, enabling researchers to explore its mechanisms of action and evaluate its therapeutic potential. By generating and characterizing IL-17D in recombinant form, researchers aim to clarify its pathways of action, elucidate its role in immune modulation, and assess its efficacy as a target for novel treatment strategies in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Overall, the understanding of IL-17D and its recombinant protein opens new avenues for therapeutic interventions in conditions characterized by dysregulated immune responses.
