简介
LRP-1 Cluster III protein is involved in endocytosis and phagocytosis of apoptotic cells. The LRP-1 Cluster III protein also serves as a receptor for Pseudomonas aeruginosa exotoxin A during microbial infection. LRP-1 Cluster III Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived LRP-1 Cluster III protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-hFc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LRP-1 (Low-Density Lipoprotein Receptor-Related Protein 1) is a multifunctional receptor implicated in various physiological processes, including lipid metabolism, signal transduction, and cellular clearance of extracellular matrix components. Cluster III of LRP-1 is particularly noteworthy, as it harbors several critical binding sites that facilitate interactions with diverse ligands, including apolipoproteins, growth factors, and enzymes. Research into recombinant proteins derived from Cluster III has gained traction due to its potential therapeutic applications in treating neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's, where LRP-1's role in amyloid-beta clearance is pivotal. Additionally, understanding the structure-function relationship of this domain can provide valuable insights into receptor-mediated endocytosis and intracellular signaling pathways. The recombinant expression of LRP-1 Cluster III facilitates the study of its biophysical properties and ligand interactions, offering a platform for drug development and targeted therapies. Overall, the exploration of LRP-1 Cluster III recombinant proteins represents a promising avenue in biomedical research, with implications for understanding disease mechanisms and developing novel interventions.
