简介
CD23, also known as Fc epsilon Receptor II (Fc epsilon RII), is a low-affinity receptor for immunoglobulin E (IgE) and complement receptor 2 (CR2/CD21). CD23 regulates IgE production and B-cell differentiation, aiding in IGE-dependent antigen uptake. CD23/Fc epsilon RII Protein, Rat (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant rat-derived CD23/Fc epsilon RII protein, expressed by HEK293 , with N-hFc labeled tag.
- Application
-
Biological Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Rat CD23 at 2μg/mL (100μL/well) can bind Human IgE. The ED50 for this effect is 0.5997 μg/mL. Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD23, also known as Fc epsilon RII, is a low-affinity receptor for immunoglobulin E (IgE) that plays a critical role in regulating immune responses, particularly in allergic reactions and asthma. This protein is predominantly expressed on the surface of B cells, dendritic cells, and other immune cells, serving as a key mediator in the interaction between the immune system and IgE, which is pivotal in allergy development and management. Research into CD23/Fc epsilon RII has gained significant attention due to its potential implications in understanding various allergic diseases and autoimmune disorders. Its dual role in promoting both the activation and regulation of B cell responses makes it a crucial target for therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating IgE-mediated hypersensitivity. Furthermore, the investigation of CD23's function and its interactions with other immune molecules could unlock novel avenues for immunotherapy, potentially leading to innovative treatments that alleviate allergic symptoms and enhance tolerance. The development of recombinant CD23 proteins facilitates detailed studies of its structure-function relationships, ligand interactions, and signaling pathways, paving the way for enhanced understanding of its biological significance and therapeutic potential in allergy and beyond.
