Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SSH3 (Slingshot Homolog 3) is a member of the SSH family of proteins, which are known to act as guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs) for the Rho-GTPase family, particularly Rac1. Research into SSH3 focuses on its role in the regulation of actin cytoskeleton dynamics, critical for cell movement, morphology, and signaling. Emerging studies suggest that SSH3 may be implicated in various physiological processes and pathologies, including cell migration during development, tissue repair, and tumor metastasis. The protein’s ability to regulate actin polymerization and depolymerization makes it vital in understanding cellular responses to external stimuli. Furthermore, SSH3 has also been linked to various neurodegenerative diseases, adding to its significance in biomedical research. As scientists aim to elucidate the precise mechanisms of SSH3’s action, the potential therapeutic implications of targeting this protein in cancer treatment and regenerative medicine are becoming increasingly evident. Overall, SSH3 emerges as a crucial component not just in cell biology but also in the broader context of human health and disease, warranting further exploration through the study of its recombinant protein forms for functional assays and therapeutic applications.
