Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EGR4 (Early Growth Response 4) is a member of the EGR family of transcription factors, which play critical roles in various cellular processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and response to environmental stimuli. As a zinc finger protein, EGR4 modulates gene expression by binding to specific DNA sequences, influencing key pathways involved in neurodevelopment, immune responses, and tissue repair. Research into EGR4 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in neurological disorders and cancer. Studies suggest that EGR4 is involved in the regulation of neuronal plasticity and can influence the progression of neurodegenerative diseases. Additionally, its overexpression has been linked to tumorigenesis in certain cancers, making it a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. The need for a deeper understanding of EGR4's function has led to the development of recombinant EGR4 proteins for research purposes. These recombinant proteins enable the exploration of EGR4's biological activity, interactions with other molecules, and its role in cellular pathways. Furthermore, such studies may uncover novel insights into how manipulating EGR4's activity could lead to new treatment strategies for diseases where its dysregulation is a factor. Overall, the investigation of EGR4 recombinant proteins serves as a crucial step in elucidating the complex biological functions of EGR4 and its potential as a therapeutic target in various diseases.
