Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LMF2 (Lipid Metabolism Factor 2) is a protein that has garnered significant attention in the field of lipid metabolism and cellular energy regulation. It plays a crucial role in the assembly and function of lipid droplets, which are essential for fat storage and metabolism in eukaryotic cells. Dysregulation of lipid metabolism is associated with a range of metabolic disorders, including obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Research on LMF2 has primarily focused on its molecular mechanisms and interactions with other proteins involved in lipid homeostasis. Studies have shown that LMF2 is essential for the proper incorporation of fatty acids into lipid droplets and is also implicated in the regulation of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress responses. The understanding of LMF2's role in lipid metabolism could provide valuable insights into therapeutic targets for treating metabolic diseases. The production of recombinant LMF2 protein has enabled researchers to investigate its biochemical properties, functional roles, and the potential effects of mutations associated with metabolic disorders. Through these studies, researchers aim to elucidate the pathways in which LMF2 operates and its impact on overall lipid homeostasis, ultimately contributing to the development of strategies for intervention in metabolic diseases.
