Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ALOX12, also known as lipoxygenase-12, is an enzyme that plays a critical role in the metabolism of polyunsaturated fatty acids, leading to the formation of bioactive lipid mediators such as leukotrienes and hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acids (HETEs). These mediators are involved in various physiological and pathological processes, including inflammation, immune response, and cell signaling. Research on ALOX12 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in various diseases, such as asthma, cardiovascular disorders, and cancer. The recombinant expression of ALOX12 allows for the detailed study of its enzymatic activity, regulatory mechanisms, and interaction with substrates and inhibitors. Furthermore, understanding the structure-function relationship of ALOX12 through recombinant protein studies can provide insights into designing therapeutic agents targeting its activity. Overall, the exploration of ALOX12 as a recombinant protein represents a promising avenue for advancing our understanding of lipid-mediated signaling pathways and developing new strategies for disease intervention.
