Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NCL (Nucleolin) is a multifunctional nucleolar protein that plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including ribosomal RNA synthesis, pre-rRNA processing, and cell proliferation. It is predominantly known for its involvement in the regulation of gene expression and apoptosis, making it a significant focus in cancer research. The study of NCL also extends to its role in various diseases, particularly due to its overexpression in malignant tumors, which has prompted interest in its potential as a therapeutic target. Researchers aim to characterize the structure and function of NCL to better understand its contribution to pathological conditions. Additionally, the reprogramming of protein expression and the manipulation of NCL interactions can uncover new pathways for drug development. By exploring novel recombinant techniques to produce NCL and its variants, scientists hope to facilitate high-throughput screening for small molecules that could inhibit or modulate its function. Understanding the dynamics of NCL not only aids in elucidating its biological significance but also provides insights into how this protein can be leveraged for therapeutic purposes, particularly in oncology, where targeting the dysregulated mechanisms of NCL could lead to innovative treatment strategies. Overall, the investigation of recombinant NCL is crucial for advancing our knowledge of cellular biology and developing new approaches to combat diseases associated with its dysfunction.
