Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TUBA1 is a member of the α-tubulin family, which plays a critical role in the formation of microtubules, essential components of the cytoskeleton in eukaryotic cells. Microtubules are instrumental in various cellular processes, including cell division, intracellular transport, and maintenance of cell shape. Due to TUBA1's pivotal role in these processes, its dysfunction has been implicated in several diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and various forms of cancer. Recent studies have focused on the recombinant expression of TUBA1 to elucidate its structural and functional properties. By generating recombinant TUBA1 protein, researchers aim to investigate its interactions with other tubulin isoforms and microtubule-associated proteins, which can provide insights into the mechanisms of microtubule dynamics and stability. Moreover, understanding TUBA1's role in pathological conditions could lead to the identification of novel therapeutic targets. As a result, the recombinant expression and characterization of TUBA1 is not only significant for fundamental biological research but also holds potential implications for developing treatments for diseases linked to microtubule dysfunction.
