Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FAM198B, a member of the FAM198 protein family, has gained attention in recent research due to its potential roles in cellular processes and disease mechanisms. Initially identified as a gene with unknown function, studies have increasingly suggested its involvement in critical pathways, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Recent investigations have indicated that FAM198B may play a crucial role in cancer biology, particularly in certain types of tumors where its expression levels are altered. The protein has been linked to the modulation of signaling pathways, which are essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis. Furthermore, FAM198B has been studied as a potential biomarker for disease progression and prognosis, especially in malignancies. The recombinant expression of FAM198B protein enables researchers to explore its structure, interactions, and functional properties in detail, paving the way for understanding its biological significance. This foundational research may ultimately contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting FAM198B-associated pathways, underscoring its promise as a focal point for further investigation in oncology and other fields.
