Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FAM185A (Family with Sequence Similarity 185A) is a protein that has gained attention in recent years due to its potential roles in cellular processes and disease mechanisms. Initially identified through genomic studies, FAM185A appears to be involved in various biological functions, including cellular signaling, proliferation, and differentiation. Its relevance has been particularly noted in the context of various cancers, where altered expression levels of FAM185A have been associated with tumor progression and poor prognosis. The study of FAM185A as a recombinant protein has opened new avenues for understanding its structure-function relationships and functional roles in different cellular contexts. Research involving the expression and purification of recombinant FAM185A enables detailed investigations into its biochemical properties and interactions with other cellular components. This knowledge is crucial for elucidating the molecular pathways in which FAM185A is involved, potentially offering insights into novel therapeutic targets for cancer treatment and other diseases. Furthermore, the exploration of FAM185A’s role in human health and disease underscores the importance of this protein in the broader context of genetic regulation and cellular homeostasis, making it an attractive subject for ongoing research endeavors.
