Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FAM160B2, also known as "Familial emergent phenotype 160B2," is a protein of increasing interest in the field of molecular biology and medicine due to its potential roles in cellular processes and disease mechanisms. As a member of the FAM160 family, FAM160B2 is thought to participate in cellular signaling pathways and the regulation of gene expression, which suggests a critical function in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Recent studies have implicated FAM160B2 in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis, thereby emphasizing its significance in developmental biology and pathophysiology. Furthermore, emerging evidence suggests that alterations in FAM160B2 expression or function may be associated with several diseases, including cancers and neurodegenerative disorders. To better understand the underlying mechanisms of FAM160B2 in health and disease, the generation of a recombinant form of the protein facilitates the investigation of its biochemical properties, interaction partners, and functional roles. The production of a recombinant FAM160B2 protein enables researchers to employ various in vitro and in vivo assays to elucidate its contribution to cellular functions and to explore its potential as a therapeutic target. Overall, the study of FAM160B2 and its recombinant form holds promise for advancing our understanding of its biological roles and implications in disease pathogenesis, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies.
