Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TORC2, or Target of Rapamycin Complex 2, is a crucial multi-protein complex that plays a significant role in regulating cellular growth and metabolism by integrating signals from various inputs, including nutrients, energy status, and growth factors. Unlike its counterpart TORC1, which is primarily involved in protein synthesis and cell growth, TORC2 is essential for organizing the actin cytoskeleton and regulating cell survival and proliferation. Dysfunctions in TORC2 signaling are linked to various diseases, particularly cancer, where aberrant signaling can lead to increased cell proliferation and survival. Understanding the structural and functional dynamics of TORC2 is vital for elucidating its role in these pathologies. Research on TORC2 often involves the reconstitution of the complex using recombinant proteins, allowing scientists to dissect its biochemical properties and regulatory mechanisms in vitro. By studying TORC2 in controlled settings, researchers hope to uncover novel therapeutic targets that could mitigate its pathological roles, particularly in tumorigenesis. This growing interest in TORC2 underscores the need for continued explorations into its molecular interactions and implications in health and disease.
