Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FAHD2A (Fatty Acid Hydroxylase Domain-Containing Protein 2A) is a member of the FAHD protein family, which is implicated in lipid metabolism and fatty acid processing. The gene encoding FAHD2A has gained attention in recent years due to its potential role in various biological processes, including energy homeostasis, cell signaling, and physiological responses to metabolic challenges. Research has shown that FAHD2A is involved in the hydroxylation of fatty acids, an important reaction that can influence the properties and functions of lipids within biological systems. Dysregulation of FAHD2A expression and activity has been associated with metabolic disorders, obesity, and related chronic diseases, prompting investigations into the mechanisms underlying its function. Characterizing FAHD2A as a recombinant protein allows researchers to explore its enzymatic activity, interactions with other biomolecules, and potential applications in biotechnology and therapeutic development. Understanding the structural and functional properties of FAHD2A can provide insights into its role in metabolism and may open avenues for novel interventions in metabolic diseases.
