Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EPS8, or Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Pathway Substrate 8, is a pivotal protein that plays a significant role in various cellular processes, including receptor endocytosis, actin cytoskeleton remodeling, and signal transduction related to cell growth and survival. The study of EPS8 has gained traction due to its involvement in several critical physiological functions and its association with various diseases, most notably cancer. As a substrate for epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) signaling, EPS8 is implicated in the regulation of cell proliferation and migration, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. The recombinant expression of EPS8 facilitates detailed investigations into its functional dynamics, interactions with other proteins, and its influence on signaling pathways. Researchers are particularly interested in how EPS8's overexpression or aberrant function could contribute to oncogenic processes, highlighting the need for a deeper understanding of its molecular mechanisms. Studies involving recombinant EPS8 protein provide insights into its structural properties, enzymatic activity, and potential as a biomarker for certain cancers. Furthermore, examining EPS8 in various cellular models allows for the assessment of its role in modulating responses to treatment and overall cellular behavior. Hence, research on recombinant EPS8 not only advances our understanding of cancer biology but also aids in the exploration of new therapeutic strategies aimed at targeting EPS8-related pathways.
