Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EPC1 (Ectopic Pouch Cancer 1) is a member of the E3 ubiquitin ligase family that has garnered significant interest in the field of cancer research due to its role in protein regulation and signal transduction pathways. Abnormal expression levels of EPC1 have been correlated with various types of cancers, suggesting its involvement in tumorigenesis. Research has indicated that EPC1 facilitates the ubiquitination process, targeting specific substrates for degradation, which is crucial for maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating cell cycle progression. Furthermore, the dysregulation of EPC1 can lead to the accumulation of oncogenic proteins, thus contributing to the malignant transformation of cells. Studies utilizing recombinant EPC1 proteins have paved the way for a deeper understanding of its mechanistic functions and have provided insights into potential therapeutic targets for cancer treatment. Additionally, the structural characterization of EPC1 through techniques like X-ray crystallography and NMR has elucidated its binding interactions, enabling the design of small molecules that may inhibit its activity. Overall, the investigation of EPC1 as a crucial player in cancer biology underscores the need for continued research into its functions, interactions, and potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in oncological therapies. This background highlights the protein’s significance in the broader context of cancer biology and fosters the exploration of its applications in clinical settings.
